Safety

Woodturning, like all forms of woodworking, can be dangerous.  As stated in the American Association of Woodturners journal American Woodturner: “An accident at the lathe can happen with blinding suddenness; respiratory and other problems can build over years.”

 We encourage all woodturners to take appropriate precautions and follow safety procedures and protocols when turning.
